UKRAINE: Putin on Xi Ritz
Circa 1927, Irving Berlin wrote a song about the wealthy enjoying life in the pre-Great Depression 1920’s. Performed later by Fred Astaire, it became a classic: Puttin’ on the Ritz. With a hat-tip to Mr. Berlin, let us here update the lyrics:
Have you seen the well-to-do
Up and down Park Avenue the Capitol halls
On that famous thoroughfare
With their noses in the airHigh hats and Arrow collars Military aid, cash and cryptoWhite spats and Laundered back for lots of dollars
Spending every dime
For a wonderful time
A few months ago, Ukrainian flags and colors were all the rage, at least in those circles that have been conditioned to jump (Pavlovian-like) on whatever bandwagon that the blue-pill media (a/k/a “mainstream media”) commands them.
In recent years, we’ve witnessed this same phenomenon through the genuflecting to Black Lives Matter, to mask and “vaccine Nazi’s” during the Plandemic … not to mention the media-enticed tribal chants about “deniers” (e.g., “climate deniers,” “election deniers”).
Regarding Ukraine, amongst usually rational Conservatives, a strain of Vladimir Putin admiration appeared: that he’s converted to Christianity, that he’s taking on the World Economic Forum, and so on. Alas, for once many on “our” side appear to have played the role of “useful idiots,” as role usually reserved for Progressives.
For we should make no mistake: Putin is not a good guy. He’s ex-KGB and graduate of the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leaders Program” (what I refer to as the “Klaus Youth”). Putin is currently an ally of Xi Jinping, leader of the Chinese Communist Party (and so, de facto dictator of China), and has more than friendly relations with the Mullahs in Tehran.
At best, Putin is an adversary; more likely, an outright enemy.
But when it comes to Ukraine, there are no good players involved – to paraphrase Shakespeare: “Something’s rotten in the state of Denmark Ukraine.”
President Zelensky of Ukraine is a cross-dressing grifter (at best). Ukraine itself has been a hotbed of corruption (think Hunter Biden and Burisma, and “the big guy” Joe Biden bragging before the CFR that he got the prosecutor looking into Hunter / Burisma fired … by threatening to withhold taxpayer-financed U.S. “aid”).
Ukraine is, reputedly, a global center for human trafficking (that may be that’s what first attracted Hunter Biden there).
Don’t forget Alexander Vindman – of Ukrainian origin – a key figure in the 2019 attempt to impeach President Trump over his phone call with Zelensky. Vindman testified that – on multiple occasions – he was offered the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Odd, to say the least.
Related to that spurious impeachment effort, other Ukrainian-orbit names pop up: Marie Yovanovich. The Atlantic Council.
Not to mention the U.S. backed coup a/k/a “color revolution” in Ukraine circa 2013-2014 under the B. Hussein Obama administration, and one Victoria Nuland (current Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs in the Biden-Harris Administration Junta).
Additionally, there has been credible speculation that the U.S. has been funding (operating?) multiple bioweapons labs in Ukraine and that Ukraine has been a locus for laundering money (e.g., kickbacks from foreign aid) back to U.S. politicians. The FTX cryptocurrency exchange – in which Ukraine invested laundered at least some U.S. “aid” back to U.S. politicians – might be the tip of one iceberg amongst a field of icebergs.
Indeed, we should consider the possibility that Zelensky has lots and lots and lots of incriminating dirt — from peccadilloes through felonies, on all sorts of U.S. players — and that securing Ukrainian silence is a major (if not the primary) motivation underlying the billions in “aid” … perhaps also explaining U.S. politicians lining up to kiss Zelensky’s ass ring when he recently appeared before Congress.
The “big guy” Joe Biden, and his bagman Hunter, have a long history in Ukraine – but a longer, and presumably far more lucrative one, with the CCP.
Evidence indicates that the CCP was involved – if not led – the stolen election / coup d’etat of 2020 that installed Biden into the White House.
The logical not assumption, but presumption – to err on the side of national security caution – must be that Joe Biden is a compromised asset of the CCP. (As are several others in Washington, D.C. and across the country. The CCP refers to this as “elite capture.”)
Therefore, a rebuttable presumption follows that any and all action taken by the (unelected) Biden-Harris Junta is in service to Xi Jinping and the CCP, and so presumptively hostile to the interests of the United States of America.
With Xi allied with Putin, and presumably controlling Biden; there are no pro-U.S. players involved with Ukraine.
Afghanistan shares a border with China, and there Biden abandoned billions of American military equipment – gifting it to the Taliban.
Since then, under Biden, the U.S. has committed tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine, including further depleting post-Afghanistan stockpiles of supplies from the U.S. military. There are reports of some going to the black market, and even appearing in the hands of Muslim terrorists in Nigeria.
We don’t know how much of the “aid” money is being skimmed-off for “the big guy Biden” or other U.S. politicians or interests … much less is being skimmed-off on the Ukrainian side.
We are living not in a fog of war, but a fog of propaganda. We can’t trust anything coming from the Biden-Harris Junta … nor Putin … nor Zelensky … nor Xi.
Something is occurring in Ukraine, and some intended outcomes, but the only thing we can be confident in is that it is not at all what we are being told.
There are multiple possibilities, but presumably none that are in the best interests of the American people. If there are any full or partial benefits to the security of the USA and the benefit of its citizens, they will be incidental, not intended, not with the folks currently in charge of any of the relevant countries.
Corrupt politicians here will get their lucre and end up fabulously wealthy, as will their Ukrainian counterparts. In return for …
Putin may end up with territory, and might further cement himself in the good graces of Xi.
But consider (as another possibility) that Ukraine is serving as a feint, and between Afghanistan and Ukraine, the American military is being weakened to a degree that will make defending Taiwan impossible.
Or, that Xi – something like Ernst Blowfeld (“No. 1”), head of SPECTRE in the James Bond movie “From Russia with Love” (ironic title?) and his comparison to fighting fish – is allowing Russian and the USA to fight and weaken each other.
Which could create the conditions for a successful CCP assault on Taiwan, from which it would then presumptively soon control the Western Pacific.
Which might even set the stage for the U.S. struggling even to defend its own homeland. Which would leave the PRC / CCP as the dominant, unchallengeable military (and economic) power on the planet. CCP doctrine is unambiguous about that being its ultimate goal.
Thus, having a de facto Manchurian Candidate occupying the White House is, arguably, the greatest threat this country has ever faced.
Meanwhile, we see the politicians and special interests – the well-to-do, up and down the Capitol halls are … Putin on Xi Ritz.
Postscript: Speaking of … note this about Liz Cheney from Gateway Pundit on January 3, 2023: “Liz Cheney Increased Her Wealth by $36 Million After Serving Just 6.5 Years in Congress” (at a salary of $174,000). IMHO, either she’s got one helluva financial advisor – and if so, I want his or her number so I can sign up as a client too – or we’ve got another poster-child for Congressional grift.
Come to think of it, perhaps the title of this post should have been: Ukraine: Putin on Xi Grift.
